What a concrete & sitework takeoff from us includes

Volume
Slabs, footings, piers, walls and curbs computed to cubic yards, with the waste factor shown as its own line.
Reinforcement
Rebar by size and length with lap allowance, mesh by area, dowels, chairs and ties.
Formwork
Contact area by assembly, form lumber or panel counts, bracing and stakes.
Finish
Broom, trowel, exposed aggregate or stamped, separated by area because the labor differs sharply.
Accessories
Vapor barrier, expansion joint, sealant, curing compound, embeds and anchor bolts.
Excavation
Cut and fill volumes listed as quantities so you can price them with your own equipment rates.

Questions we get asked

What waste factor do you use on concrete?

5% on a well-prepared slab over compacted gravel with tight forms, 10% on footings, trenches or uneven subgrade. It is always shown as its own line so you can change it, never folded silently into the total.

Do you round to ready-mix increments?

Yes. Ready-mix sells in quarter-yard increments, so the order quantity is rounded up. Short-loading a pour costs far more than the extra concrete.

Do you include rebar laps?

Yes, lap length is added per size. A rebar takeoff without laps under-orders every time.

Bidding more than one job a month?

Three trades for $549 as a one-off, or 10 to 15 projects a month on the $1,450 retainer with priority 12-hour turnaround. Cancel any time.
